There are several accommodation options in Lodz, ranging from hostels to 4* hotel. I found tripadvisor helpful to judge the place.
UPDATE: most of people stay in Hotel Campanile and Piotrkowska 114 apartments (booked out). They are both within 10-15 min walk from eachother.
Budget
Flamingo Hostel (http://lodz.flamingo-hostel.com/)- prices from 40pln (18NZD) per person depends on the room, located close to the venue, get in touch with us if you need more information
Mid range
Hotel Campanile Lodz (http://www.campanile-lodz.pl/en/) located just 200m from the venue, close to the main street and next to Galeria Lodzka (shopping centre). This hotel offers a special rate for our wedding guests for 120 pln per double room/night (~55-60NZD). To book a room, please contact Joanna Kostecka on rezerwacjalodz@campanile.com.pl and mention Kinga&Mike's wedding. When booking, please specify if you want: double/twin, smoking/nonsmoking room, bath/shower. Breakfast is extra (40pln) per room, which is relatively expensive.
Hotel Ibis - (http://www.ibishotel.com/gb/hotel-3096-ibis-lodz-centrum/index.shtml), located close to Hotel Campanile in the city centre (further from the venue, but closer to the main street). From 130pln ($58) per double room/night, if booked online and in advance. No special rate for the wedding.
Piotrkowska 114 apartments BOOKED OUT (http://www.piotrkowska114.pl/index.php?lang=en) - located on the main street, they offer a range of apartments from 160pln (73nzd) per night, depending on the apartment and number of nights. We could also get a group discount, depending on numbers. Each apartment has kitchen and is more spacious than a hotel room, apartments are not serviced/cleaned during your stay.
Top range
Andels Hotel (http://www.andelslodz.com/nc/en/special-offers/), the best hotel in Lodz and the most expensive one. For rates check their website.
