Wedding week

Dear All
We have organised a couple of activities to liven things up and to show you around Lodz. We really appreciate the effort everyone has made to celebrate our wedding and would like to make you all welcome to join in the festivities.
Thursday 30th June:
Mary and Allen have organised a pre-dinner party at their apartment located on the main street Piotrkowska 114, Apartment 17 (next to a small McDonald's sign). This is an opportunity to welcome and introduce all our international guests. You can come any time after 3.30pm and Mary and Allen will supply the refreshments.
This party will be followed by a dinner in a traditional Polish restaurant serving traditional Polish country food, if you cant make it to the pre-dinner party it would be good too see you at the dinner. The restaurant is on the same main street in Lodz "Piotrkowska", its location is Piotrkowska 200 "U Chochola". The dinner will cost around $18 NZD or 9 euro. Please let us know if you would like to join us (we already have over 30 people on the list) but if you arrive unannounced you will be still welcome.
Friday 1st July: Our wedding day.
Please come to the Church : Katedra Lodzka (Piotrkowska 265) by 6.50pm. After the Church Mass we have arranged transport to the reception venue.
Saturday 2nd July :
A guided tour of the city with an optional visit to the Poznanski Palace and Museum followed by dinner in one of the Manufaktura restaurants and a pub crawl for those who didn't get enough alcohol and music the night before! First we meet at Laweczka Tuwima located on Piotrkowska 104 (Main Street) at 2.30pm for the city tour.
All these festivities are within walking distance of the hotels.
My new polish phone number is: +48 726 418 393.
Recommended taxi company is: 0 800 400 400 (toll free number).
The best way to exchange money is to use one of the ATMs or pay with your card.
We hope you all have safe travels and look forward to seeing you soon.

8 weeks to go!

With 8 weeks to go, it's time to think about the dress code.

Generally at weddings in Poland men dress formally (suit and tie).
Ladies, we don't have to tell you how to dress, jus wear your best dress and fascinator (if you have one) to outshine Kate and William guests.

p.s. Polish people usually don't wear fascinators.
